All Mountain Medical Center (MMC) staff members were tested for COVID-19 last Friday after a low risk exposure to a confirmed COVID-19 case, and all employees have tested negative.
Last Friday, MMC announced a non-clinical staff member, with very limited patient contact, had tested positive for COVID-19. It is believed the employee was exposed to the virus outside of the clinic.
“Mountain Medical Center is happy to say that all personnel have tested negative for COVID-19. We will continue to follow strict adherence to our protocol of wearing masks and requiring our patients to wear masks while in the building” says Dr. Joel Gates, owner of MMC.
