Mountain Medical Center would like to extend a warm welcome to our newest Provider, Jacklyn Hardin, NP-C (Certified Nurse Practitioner). We are so excited to have you on the team!
Jackie is a native of South Texas who has made the Western Slope her home for the past 8 years. After earning her Associates Degree in 2011, she began working as a RN in her
hometown of Port Lavaca, Texas. She received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas in 2015, and became a clinical instructor for the Technical College of the Rockies, teaching aspiring nurses clinical skills in the hospital setting. She is also an Instructor Mentor for the Neonatal Resuscitation Program, and teaches regular certification classes for OB/GYNs, midwives, pediatricians, and RNs.
With a strong desire to serve the community she lives in, she chose to continue her education and seek a Master’s of Science in Nursing. A recent graduate of Maryville University’s Family Nurse Practitioner program, she is looking forward to her new role as a provider. She believes that health should be tailored to each individual; there is no one single course for wellness, and working with people to learn how their personal needs can be met is an effort best suited with an open, honest approach. She believes building relationships with her patients is key to providing excellent care.
In her spare time, she enjoys painting, hiking, trail running, and paddleboarding- all the things that drew her to the area initially! She spends her summers in the mountains and lakes surrounding Ridgway, soaking up the warmth and taking her English bulldog paddleboarding with her children.
